Problem: Google was seeking innovative ways to promote its new Pixel phone, watch, and earbuds, aiming to generate excitement, attract attention, and provide an engaging experience for potential customers. The goal was to create an interactive and memorable launch event that would drive product awareness and encourage consumer interest across a variety of platforms.


Solution: We partnered with the Discovery District to host an interactive launch event that offered a fun and engaging environment for attendees. The event featured a variety of attractions, including free food and drinks, games, live demos of the Google Pixel phone, watch, and earbuds, and exclusive offers for attendees. The immersive experience allowed visitors to test out the products in real-time, with staff on hand to guide them through the features and benefits of each device. The event was designed to create buzz, foster direct engagement with potential customers, and highlight the unique features of the Google Pixel lineup in an approachable, hands-on way.


Results:

  • High Engagement: The event saw over 500 attendees who interacted with the products, played games, and participated in live demos. The hands-on experience allowed Google to connect directly with consumers and build excitement around the Pixel products.

  • Increased Product Awareness: Through a mix of live demos, in-person interactions, and digital promotion, the launch event led to a 12% increase in brand awareness among attendees, many of whom shared their experience on social media.

  • Increased Sales: The event drove a 19% boost in sales of the Google Pixel phone, watch, and earbuds in the following week at retail locations, showing a direct impact from the interactive promotion.
